Casting Networks is a SaaS company serving the entertainment industry, creating the conduit between performers and their representation, and the casting directors and producers who are seeking talent. They have an international footprint, with an industry-leading presence in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy to support significant business growth and enhance brand equity and awareness. I was responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, training, and managing all marketing functions to achieve the Company’s objectives of sales, growth, profitability and visibility, while ensuring a consistent marketing message and position aligned with the corporate direction.
My other duties and responsibilities included:
- Design, implement and manage structured, timely and effective marketing tactics and programs (utilizing Hubspot)
- Develop and meet benchmark criteria (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs and achieve targeted results
- Partner with Sales to develop quality lead generation programs and market development initiatives, to drive customer acquisition growth and build systems and controls to ensure that these are met
- Lead and manage all aspects of the marketing mix, including branding, content and inbound marketing, demand generation marketing tactics. SEO, email marketing, website design, creative, public relations, social media, events, promotions, and collateral materials
- Manage primary focus of marketing efforts on content / inbound marketing and develop communications across the full customer lifecycle, including creative development, targeting, segmentation, and performance analysis
- Communicate convincingly to all audiences the Company’s positioning and differentiated messaging that underpins its market-leading offer
- Ensure customer requirements and product feedback are fully understood in order to guide product development and feature enhancements
- Work closely with all senior management to create demand and recognition for the Company and its products and services
- Operate at both the strategic and tactical levels
